South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network (SEMPHN) invites people from the Alcohol and Other Drugs sector (and related areas) to an introduction to ResetLife - the Matrix Model Intensive Outpatient AOD treatment program.
This unique, free training opportunity will provide you with an introduction to the Matrix Model, the evidence supporting its use, an overview of the therapeutic interventions, who it works for, and how to refer.
Ahndrea Weiner, Director of Training, California. The Matrix Institute on Addictions.
Ahndrea Weiner is currently Director of Training and Clinical Supervisor at Matrix Institute on Addictions, where she has worked for the last 26 years. She's a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Masters of Science in Educational Psychology. As well as being a clinical research supervisor, lecturer and trainer, she's authored book chapters and journal articles on addiction, and appears in the HBO documentary â€˜Addiction'. Ahndrea continues to treat clients clinically through her Telemedicine private practice.

The training is provided at no cost. Morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, coffee and tea, will be provided.
Free car parking is available directly behind Kingston City Hall and underneath the adjacent apartment building on South Road (70 car spaces). There is additional parking across the Nepean Hwy behind the shops.
