Clinical Assessment (Dandenong Practice Nurse Network Meeting)

NOTE: This event is for Practice Nurses working in the SEMPHN catchment. 


Event Overview

This education program and has been developed specifically for Practice Nurses and is being delivered as part of SEMPHN's Practice Networking Meetings.

Practice Network Meetings provide an opportunity for Practice Nurses across the region to come together to learn and network.

This session will explain how to conduct a systematic assessment of  patients and the importance of vital signs and their trends,  recognising and responding to clinical changes.

Learning outcomes:

  1. Describe why we take vital signs 
  2. Recognise and respond to the vital signs 
  3. Discuss the importance of performing a structured, systematic assessment

Please note: Practice Managers have a concurrent education/networking activity at the same time and at the same venue. 

 


Accreditation

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance for 2 hours of education.

Cost

Free but registration is essential. A light meal will be provided from 5:30pm. Presentations will begin promptly at 6:00pm.
