Risk Management and Ethical Dilemmas (Dandenong Practice Manager Network Meeting)

NOTE: This event is for Practice Managers working in the SEMPHN catchment.

Event Overview
This education program and has been developed specifically for Practice Managers and is being delivered as part of SEMPHN's Practice Networking Meetings.

Practice Network Meetings provide an opportunity for Practice Managers across the region to come together to learn and network.

Join us for an informative session focusing on Risk Management and Ethical Dilemmas.

Martin Botros, Risk Adviser, and Ruth Crampton, Manager Member Education, in the Advocacy, Research and Education team from Avant will join us and present this session. 

Learning outcomes:

  • Explore the concept of culturally appropriate care 
  • Demonstrate solutions to key ethical dilemmas in the practice environment
  • Outline risk mitigation practices based on case examples and lessons learnt

Please note: Practice Nurses have a concurrent education/networking activity at the same time at the same venue.


Participants will receive a certificate of attendance for 2 hours of education.

Free but registration is essential. A light meal will be provided from 5:30pm. Presentations will begin promptly at 6:00pm.
