Job Description
General Practice(Gp) Clinic in southeastern suburbs (Dandenong) is seeking a warm, reliable, and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our busy general practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive patient experience by providing efficient, courteous, and professional front desk support.<br>
Essential selection criteria
- Previous experience in a medical reception or customer service role (preferred)<br>- Proficiency in using medical software Best Practice, Medical Director or a willingness to learn.<br>- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<br>- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure<br>- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills<br>- Professional presentation and a compassionate, patient-focused attitude<br>- Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality<br>- \*Understanding of Medicare billing and item numbers (advantageous)<br><br>
