Job Description

The main duties will include:<br>- Provide administrative and secretarial support to the practitioners and management staff<br>- Schedule appointments and theatre bookings<br>- Liaise with new, existing and potential patients/referrers<br>- Manage phone inquiries competently<br>- Take financial payments<br>- Work with Medicare and various health funds<br>- Assist with doctor enquiries<br>- Promote a child and family friendly environment<br><br>

Essential selection criteria

You will possess the following attributes:<br>- Proven experience in a customer-facing administrative role<br>- Experience in maintaining appointment booking and account systems<br>- Strong communication skills coupled with interpersonal skills<br>- Good time management and high attention to detail<br>- Excellent listening skills and teamwork mindset<br>- Experience dealing with Medicare and various health funds<br><br>

Desirable selection criteria

<br>- Experience working with children and families<br>- Demonstrated understanding of electronic medical record systems (clinic to cloud)<br>- Proficiency in Microsoft Office<br><br>
