Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and organised Medical Receptionist to join our team. The role involves managing appointments, greeting patients, and supporting daily clinic operations. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential.<br>

Essential selection criteria

- Previous medical reception experience (essential)<br>- Experience with Best Practice (BP) software<br>- Knowledge of Medicare item numbers, billing, TAC & WorkCover<br>- Strong communication, organisation, and multitasking skills<br>- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach<br>- Flexibility to cover shifts as required<br>- Availability to work predominantly afternoon shifts<br>

Desirable selection criteria

- Familiarity with appointment billing and EFTPOS handling<br>- Knowledge of medical terminology<br>- Experience with electronic health records and recall systems<br>- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently<br>- Experience handling high patient volumes<br>- Certificate in Medical Administration or similar (preferred)<br>- Team-oriented with a positive attitude<br>
