**A practice nurse plays a vital role in primary healthcare, providing clinical services, managing chronic diseases, and supporting patient education and health promotion.**<br>

Essential selection criteria

Must be a registered Nurse with over 2 years’ experience<br>Practice nurse key responsibilities<br> <br>Patient care<br> Nursing care to patients ,including administering vaccines,<br>conducting health screenings and chronic diseases such ,<br>as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension.<br>This includes preforming routine checks like Blood pressure monitoring and wound care.<br> <br>Clinical Duties <br>Child immunisations and other preventative health measures.<br>Assist GP with minor surgical procedures and provide advice on health .<br> <br>Team Collaboration<br>Work closely with GP maintain effective communication<br>within the health care team and with patients.<br>Record keeping able to use Best practice software and<br>ensure accurate documentation of patient care and follow ups.<br> <br>Health Promotions<br>Initiate and maintain health promotions for the clinic offering lifestyle<br>Advice and education on topics such as smoking cessation and<br>Weight management.<br> <br>Professional Development<br>Engage in continuous professional development and training.<br> <br>

Desirable selection criteria

Previous experience in clinical setting, particularly in General practice is essential. Computer Literacy able to upload Health records Must have Best Practice skills as that's the clinics software. Communication skills must be strong to communicate with patients and General practitioners.<br>

About the practice

New practice established 9 months ago. Steady patient base located in the greater Dandenong area. Plenty of off-street Parking. No late nights. Flexible working hours
