Job Description

Aghapy Medical Centre-Pakenham is looking for a Registered Nurse Casual who is willing to have flexible working schedule, has a friendly and engaging personality, willingness to go an extra mile, honest, team player, passionate about preventative care and has genuine care for patients.<br>Our clinic opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday/Sunday 9-1pm We are also open on some public holidays.<br>Practice Nurse tasks include but not limited to:<br>- Immunisations<br>- Wound care<br>- Triage assessment<br>- Chronic disease management plans<br>- Health assessment<br>- Infection control<br>- Maintaining stock levels, cold chain monitoring, OHS compliance<br>- Recalls<br>- Perform receptionist tasks such as receiving calls, scheduling appointments, billing with Pracsoft software.<br> <br>Essential Features of the successful candidate:<br>- Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)<br>- People skills; patient-focused approach in service provision<br>- Ability to work in a team or independently<br>- Commitment to ongoing professional development<br>- Good work ethic<br>- Problem solver<br>- **Be able to cover other shifts when staff on leave**<br>- **Previous practice nurse experience essential**.<br>- Competence in the use of relevant equipment & software Pracsoft & Medical Director an advantage; computer literacy (Intermediate/Advance knowledge of MS Word & Excel)<br><br>
