Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive medical team.<br>Our well-established practice consists of experienced General Practitioners, Registrars, Nurses, Reception Staff, and Allied Health Professionals who work collaboratively to provide high-quality, patient-centred care to the community.<br>The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical support to doctors and patients, including immunisations, wound care, health assessments, care plans, chronic disease management, assisting with procedures, and other nursing duties within a busy general practice environment.<br>We are looking for someone who is:<br>- Warm, professional, and empathetic<br>- Reliable and well organised<br>- Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team<br>- Committed to delivering high-quality patient care<br>- Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times<br>Previous experience in general practice nursing is desirable; however, training and support will be provided to the right candidate.<br>
Essential selection criteria
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA<br>- Demonstrated clinical experience in a healthcare or general practice setting (desirable but not essential)<br>- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach<br>- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team<br>- Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail<br>- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and clinical standards<br>- Competence in using medical software systems (or willingness to learn)<br>- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain/maintain)<br>- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice<br><br><br><br>
Desirable selection criteria
- Strong clinical skills in immunisations, wound care, and patient assessments<br>- Knowledge of chronic disease management and preventative health care<br><br>

asper Medical has proudly served the Bentleigh community for over a century. Since 1998, we’ve called Centre Road home, offering modern, patient-focused healthcare in a warm and welcoming environment.<br><br>Our practice is comprised of 6 experienced General Practitioners and 2 Registrars, supported by 2 qualified Practice Nurses and an experienced Administrative and Reception Team. We also work collaboratively with a network of Allied Health Professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive, multidisciplinary patient care.<br><br>We believe in building strong relationships based on trust, compassion, and clear communication.
