[Closed] Opportunity to apply to join SEMPHN Ltd's Board

Due to planned retirements from the South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network (SEMPHN) Ltd Board in 2024, SEMPHN is currently recruiting at least two new Non-Executive Directors (Directors).

This is an opportunity to submit an application to join the SEMPHN Board delivering our 2023-28 Strategic Plan: Path to Impact, with a focus on improving local health outcomes that are measurable, high quality and equitable.

Who should apply?

We are looking for appropriately skilled Directors, who live or work in south east Melbourne, and have previous Board level experience in corporate governance developed in medium to large health care settings and/or a commissioning environment across a diverse range of stakeholders. Essential skills also include financial literacy and an understanding of regulatory and risk management frameworks.

In addition, successful candidates will have at least two of the highly desirable skills outlined in the Director Applicant Information Pack, which includes primary health care expertise in service development, delivery, or management in the SEMPHN catchment, leadership experience in people, culture and organisation design, knowledge or understanding of government health care policy reform; social support and community sector experience; experience with clinical governance frameworks or data interpretation and knowledge translation.
