Measles outbreak - Information pack for healthcare services

January 23, 2025

There has been an increase in measles cases in returned travellers across Australia, with outbreaks reported in South-East Asia, including Vietnam and Thailand.

The department has prepared an information pack to assist healthcare services in managing the outbreak.

The information pack includes:

  • Posters for display in clinics (English and Vietnamese), including one to assist with triaging patients.
  • Factsheets for patients if required (please note one has been made for the general population, and another with nuanced information for Vietnamese community members)
  • Social media tiles to share with your networks, or on your platforms.
