Welcoming our newest CCC member

January 23, 2025

We are pleased to welcomed Dr Billy Stoupas, as South Eastern Melbourne PHN’s newest Clinical and Community Council (CCC) member.

Dr Stoupas, a local General Practitioner, will contribute his expertise and experience, alongside our eleven existing members, to help SEMPHN better meet the healthcare needs of communities in south east Melbourne.

With a strong background in healthcare management and governance, Dr Stoupas is dedicated to community engagement and health education. He is actively involved in the healthcare community, reflecting his passion for improving health outcomes.

What is the Clinical and Community Council?

The CCC plays an essential role in advancing SEMPHN’s efforts to strengthen primary health care and connect services across the healthcare system. Chaired by Board Member Tony Clarkson and comprising 12 representatives from across community, primary and acute health services, their role includes providing clinical advice and guidance on matters relating to safe and high-quality planning, implementation and ongoing evaluation of SEMPHN services or programs.

We look forward to Billy’s clinical insights and community perspectives guiding a more equitable, person-centred and seamless healthcare system so that people in south east Melbourne can live their healthiest lives.
