New planning tool helps GP clinics improve patient experience, staff wellbeing and efficiency

Managing multiple systems, workflows, and team needs can feel overwhelming.
Primary care clinics are invited to join a new research project aimed at helping GP practices use digital tools more effectively without losing the human touch in care. The project will measure improvements in patient experience, staff wellbeing, and practice performance.
This initiative will monitor the impact of a new clinic improvement tool designed to strengthen Digitaltech-humanness in primary care settings. Digitaltech-humanness refers to how well healthcare services can use digital tools to improve efficiency while delivering person-centred care.
Participating in this research study involves completing an initial 20-minute online survey about your clinic.
Participating primary care clinics will receive an individualised version of the PC-IMPROVDE Digitaltech-humanness planning tool including:
- a personalised Insights Report, highlighting your clinic’s balance of tech and human connection
- an early access to a step-by-step transformation guide.
Use it to:
- improve workflows and reduce friction
- support staff wellbeing and collaboration
- strengthen patient experience
- identify opportunities for quality improvement activities.
