Job Description

The successful GP will provide **high-quality, patient-centred medical care**, including assessment and management of acute and chronic conditions, preventive health care, health assessments, referrals and ongoing patient care.<br>**Key responsibilities include:**<br>- Providing comprehensive GP consultations and clinical assessments<br>- Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions<br>- Providing preventive health care and patient education<br>- Ordering and reviewing pathology and imaging<br>- Referring patients to specialists and allied health providers as appropriate<br>- Maintaining accurate and confidential medical records<br>- Providing appropriate follow-up and continuity of care<br>- Working collaboratively with doctors, nurses and practice staff<br>- Maintaining compliance with Australian clinical, professional and privacy requirements<br>The position offers **flexible working hours**, with **part-time or full-time opportunities** available.<br>

Essential selection criteria

**Essential Selection Criteria:**<br> • VR GP with current AHPRA registration<br> • FRACGP/FACRRM or equivalent<br> • Eligible for a **Medicare Provider Number** for the practice location<br> • Strong clinical and communication skills<br> • Commitment to patient-centred, high-quality care<br> • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team<br> • Current professional indemnity insurance and commitment to CPD<br>
