Job Description

The General Practitioner will provide comprehensive medical care to residents, working collaboratively with nursing staff, allied health professionals, residents, and families to ensure the highest standard of care.<br>This role offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with residents and contribute significantly to their health, wellbeing, and quality of life.<br>

Essential selection criteria

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner.<br>- Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM (or equivalent qualifications).<br>- Current Professional Indemnity Insurance.<br>- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in general practice.<br>- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br>- Commitment to person-centred, compassionate aged care.<br>- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.<br><br>

Desirable selection criteria

- Previous experience working in Residential Aged Care.<br>- Understanding of aged care legislation, accreditation standards, and quality requirements.<br>- Experience in managing complex geriatric conditions, dementia care, and palliative care.<br>- Interest in improving health outcomes for older Australians.<br><br>
