The Alliance has operated since 2016. It provides a mechanism for PHNs to collaborate on operational opportunities, enabling shared approaches, peer learning and optimised capacity building.

This improves the effectiveness and consistency of PHN activities and contributes to better local primary care outcomes.

We also take this opportunity to welcome Judy Perkins, who has joined the PHN Southern Alliance as General Manager. Judy is passionate about clear governance, effective communication, and creating environments where people and programs thrive. She brings to the Alliance 19 years experience driving operational performance, service improvement, and people‑focused outcomes across the Victorian Department of Health.
