Childcare centre health response - resources to support Health Professionals

July 15, 2025

Victoria Police are investigating a number of alleged sexual assaults linked to an employee who worked at a number of childcare centres across Melbourne.

The manner of the alleged offending means some children may be recommended for screening for infectious diseases. The Victorian Department of Health, in partnership with Victoria Police, is directly contacting families who may have been affected with further information.

Please note that important updates to the listed centres and dates were made on 15 July 2025. For the latest information, please visit the Victorian Government page.

Families may contact general practices and Urgent Care Clinics for advice, testing and support.
