South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network (SEMPHN) has achieved ISO 27001 certification, demonstrating our commitment to robust risk management, strong data protection, and continuous improvement of our information security systems.

ISO 27001 is the internationally recognised standard for information security management systems. Achieving certification involved a comprehensive independent audit of our policies, processes, and controls.

The certification means our information management systems, security controls, and data governance processes meet global best practice standards for safeguarding the privacy, integrity, and availability of information.

Ensuring our information is accurate, secure and can be reliably accessed when needed supports effective population health planning, capacity building, and service commissioning, contributing towards improved delivery of primary health care for our community.

We will continue to maintain and further strengthen its information security measures through ongoing monitoring, staff training, and scheduled surveillance audits.
