[Closed] Are you a MATOD-accredited Nurse Practitioner?

October 13, 2022

Don't miss this opportunity to work as a MATOD prescriber at a local general practice.

Mediclinic Clayton has been selected to host the SEMPHN Area 4 Pharmacotherapy Network Nurse Practitioner Pilot, to trial the engagement of an Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Nurse Practitioner in primary care.

MATOD stands for Medication Assisted Treatment of Opioid Dependence.

An exciting opportunity is available for a nurse practitioner to work as a MATOD prescriber in a local general practice.

Please note: the nurse practitioner must be MATOD-accredited.

The primary focus of the Nurse Practitioner will be:

  • Providing clinical care to patients with an opioid use disorder, including prescribing of MATOD
  • Collaborating with the GP team in the care of people on MATOD.

Applications close on Wednesday, 19 October 2022.
